WELCOME TO NRAC AWANA!
The Awana Ministry at North Richmond Alliance Church seeks to provide an environment that will allow parents and clubbers to love, know and serve the Lord Jesus and develop Christ-like attitudes for daily living. Each week, clubbers from age 3 to Grade 6 learn truths from the Bible in their respective age groups, following Awana curriculum and handbooks.
Here are the Awana Clubs offered at NRAC:
- Cubbies (age 3-4)
- Sparks (Kindergarten to Grade 2)
- Truth & Training (Grade 3 to 6)
NRAC Awana meets during the regular school year (September to June) on Friday nights at 7:30 PM - 9:10 PM (except holidays). A typical club night consists of Large Group Teaching, Small Group Discussion, Bible Memorization and Games. All activities are led by screened volunteers who are committed to helping kids understand Scripture and building positive relationships with them.
We believe strong parental support and involvement will benefit each clubber’s experience in Awana and their spiritual walk with God. Hence, parents are invited to attend Zion fellowship at NRAC (held at the same time as Awana) and also worship services on Sundays.
Registration fees cover the cost of club operation, clubbers’ uniform and handbook. Send us an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to register as a new clubber.
Awana International Canada is a separate ministry that partners with churches, parents and other organizations in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and relationally discipling kids in their faith journey. They offer biblically focused discipleship resources for children and youth to help them belong to a loving community, believe God’s word and become followers of Jesus. NRAC has registered with Awana International Canada to use their curriculum and resources. For more info about Awana International Canada, visit www.awanacanada.ca.
